Specs & Guidelines
- Max Print Area: 11.8" x 15.7" (30x40 cm).
- Foil Colors: Gold, Silver, Holographic.
- Min Line Weight: 0.2mm required for foil adhesion.
- Min Gap / Hollow: 0.5mm (space between lines).
- QR Codes: Must be Black code on White background. Minimum size 1.5cm.
Design Guide: Which Style to Choose?
- Metallic Only: Your entire design is solid foil. Best for minimalist text and logos.
- Full Color + Metallic: Combines standard UV colors with metallic accents. Perfect for logos with specific brand colors.
Artwork & Templates
UV DTF is a frictionless transfer technology. To achieve maximum 3D elevation and flawless adhesion, your files must adhere strictly to these digital parameters.
1. Background & Formats
- Strictly Transparent: Files MUST have a 100% transparent background. Do not upload files with a solid white or black box behind your design.
- Accepted Formats: High-resolution PNG or TIFF (minimum 300 DPI at actual print size). Vector AI/PDF with transparent backgrounds are also highly recommended.
2. Technical Constraints
- Do NOT Mirror: Unlike traditional sublimation, please upload your artwork exactly as you want it to appear. Do not flip or mirror the image.
- Minimum Line Thickness: UV DTF relies on the ink itself for adhesion. To ensure it sticks securely to your product, all standalone lines or text must be at least 0.3mm (1pt) thick. Extremely fine, floating lines may not adhere properly.
- No Drop Shadows: Please remove semi-transparent drop shadows, glows, or gradients fading to 0% opacity. UV DTF requires sharp, hard edges to print the white underbase and varnish accurately.

The Matrix Ink (CMYK + White Underbase)
Property: Zero Color Shift, Maximum Opacity.
Our industrial printheads lay down a highly opaque layer of white ink before applying the CMYK colors. This ensures that whether you apply the transfer to a white ceramic mug or a black laptop case, the colors remain intensely vibrant and completely color-accurate.
The Tactile Varnish (3D High-Gloss Finish)
Property: Sculptural Elevation, Scratch Resistance.
Every OTTORON UV DTF transfer is finished with a thick, precision-cured clear varnish layer. This not only protects the ink from scratches and fading but creates a distinct, tactile 3D dome effect that feels identical to direct UV flatbed printing. It elevates a simple logo into a piece of hardware.
The Industrial Adhesive (A/B Film Tech)
Property: Instant Bond, No Heat Required.
Our specialized B-film carries an aggressive, pressure-sensitive adhesive. Simply peel, stick, rub firmly, and remove the carrier film. It bonds instantly to glass, metal, hard plastics, wood, and acrylic without the need for heat or specialized equipment.
