Artwork & Specs

At OTTORON, we execute every order with uncompromising industrial precision. To ensure your assets are manufactured to the highest structural and visual standards, please review our strict artwork specifications before submitting your files.

1. THE GOLDEN RULES (CORE SPECS)

  • Resolution: Minimum 300 DPI at actual print size. We will not proceed with pixelated or low-resolution web images.
  • Color Mode: CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black). Any files submitted in RGB will be automatically converted, which may result in unexpected color shifts.
  • Accepted Formats: We highly prefer Vector-based files. .PDF, .AI, .EPS. High-resolution .PSD or .PNG (for transparent stickers/DTF) are also accepted.
  • Typography: All text must be Outlined / Converted to Shapes to prevent font substitution errors during the ripping process.

2. BLEED, TRIM & SAFE ZONE

To ensure edge-to-edge printing without white borders, your files must account for physical cutting tolerances:

  • Bleed Line (+0.125" / 3mm): Extend all background colors and images all the way to this outer line.
  • Trim Line (Actual Size): This is where the product will be physically cut.
  • Safe Zone (-0.125" / 3mm): Keep all critical text, logos, and borders inside this boundary to ensure they are not trimmed off.

3. DIE-CUT TEMPLATES (BUSINESS CARDS)

4. CUSTOM SIZING (STICKERS & UV DTF)

Our Industrial Stickers, Roll Labels, and UV DTF Transfers are precision-cut to your exact custom specifications. Because sizes vary infinitely, we do not provide pre-set templates for these categories.

Setup Rule: Simply create your artboard to the exact final dimensions you require. If your design bleeds off the edge, please add a 0.125" (3mm) bleed to the total artboard size.

5. SPECIALTY FINISHES (FOIL & SPOT UV)

If your order includes structural builds like Hot Foil Stamping or Spot UV Varnish, strict layering is required:

  • Vector Only: The foil/UV mask must be 100% vector.
  • Solid Black: The areas designated for foil/UV must be set to 100% K (C:0 M:0 Y:0 K:100). No gradients or drop shadows.
  • Separation: Please provide the foil/UV elements on a separate layer named "Foil Mask" or "UV Mask", or upload them as a separate PDF file.

6. LARGE FILES & ENTERPRISE SUBMISSION (OVER 200MB)

Our secure checkout system efficiently processes individual artwork files up to 200MB. If your high-resolution agency files, multi-layered structural builds, or heavy design assets exceed this capacity, please utilize our enterprise drop-off protocol:

  1. Proceed to checkout and complete your order to secure your production slot without uploading the file.
  2. Upload your heavy design assets to a secure cloud drive (e.g., WeTransfer, Google Drive, or Dropbox).
  3. Email the download link directly to our Prepress Team at: artwork@ottoron.com
  4. CRITICAL: You must include your Order Number (e.g., OTTORON-1001) in the email subject line so our technicians can instantly match the files to your project.

* If our pre-flight team detects critical errors in your submitted artwork, production will be paused, and you will be contacted immediately. This may affect your expected turnaround time.
