UV DTF - Artwork Guidelines

UV DTF is a frictionless transfer technology. To achieve maximum 3D elevation and flawless adhesion, your files must adhere strictly to these digital parameters.

1. Background & Formats

  • Strictly Transparent: Files MUST have a 100% transparent background. Do not upload files with a solid white or black box behind your design.
  • Accepted Formats: High-resolution PNG or TIFF (minimum 300 DPI at actual print size). Vector AI/PDF with transparent backgrounds are also highly recommended.

2. Technical Constraints

  • Do NOT Mirror: Unlike traditional sublimation, please upload your artwork exactly as you want it to appear. Do not flip or mirror the image.
  • Minimum Line Thickness: UV DTF relies on the ink itself for adhesion. To ensure it sticks securely to your product, all standalone lines or text must be at least 0.3mm (1pt) thick. Extremely fine, floating lines may not adhere properly.
  • No Drop Shadows: Please remove semi-transparent drop shadows, glows, or gradients fading to 0% opacity. UV DTF requires sharp, hard edges to print the white underbase and varnish accurately.
